Tariffs: Last week on April 2nd, President Trump rolled out his reciprocal tariffs plan. Some highlights outlined in a published White House tariff policy report include:

–Implementing a 10% tariff on all countries, taking effect April 5th at 12:01am EDT.

–Implementing a tailored reciprocal tariff increase, that targets nations with which the U.S. holds large trade imbalances. All other countries will remain under the existing 10% tariff rate. In effect April 9th at 12:01am EDT.

Under the President’s discretion, things could change or be modified should countries add reciprocal tariffs of their own or decrease tariffs.

–There are various exemptions, of which will not be subject to the reciprocal tariff. Also included in the exemptions are goods that comply with the USMCA.
